At the University of Florida, I worked as a Graphic Design Intern at the Lastinger Center for Learning, primarily supporting the marketing team with digital and print materials across departments. I later joined the Web Services team at UF Information Technology (UFIT) in a Junior Role, where I helped design and maintain university websites, collaborating with developers to improve usability and accessibility.

UF Lastinger Center of Learning

  2025

Created designs for marketing, events, courses and what was needed. The internship taught me layout, how to design under brand guidelines and keeping in mind of ADA compliance. Collaborated a ton with other designers with our weekly meetings and inputed my own ideas. Had mentors that were consistently giving good tips and feedback on what we were working on.

NCEF Tutoring Worksheets

I worked on one of these tutoring sheets meant for teachers to do activities that related to math with their students. I used stock and brand elements to put together these sheets. They helped me understand layout, hierarchy and how to design with the intent that they will interact with it physically

New Worlds Reading

One of the Lastinger’s brands that gives out free books to kids that sign up. I worked on designs for their Book Bash event, Interactive Reading Guides that are given with the free books and social media advertisement ideations. Since they are changing how they advertise on Social Media platforms, they are looking for us to create proposals to present to them.

2025

Collaborated with internal teams to design icons, animations, website mockups, and digital assets that adhered to UF brand and accessibility standards, while also contributing to illustrations, branding, and basic front-end tasks in Terminal Four.

Research Computing Redesign

The Research Computing department wanted a redesign of their website. I contributed with this project by creating new icons and a hero animation for their website. They requested something subtle and shows of their HiperGator super computer.

UF Health and UF IT Cyberween Event Pin Design

UF Health reached out to me to design a pin for their upcoming event called Cyberween.  Which is a cybersecurity event that occurs at the end of the October and has Universities around the state of Florida participating.

UF International Agent Research Group Redesign

I got assigned to help redesign the IARG website after they reached out to the web services team. Since I have experience with Figma and the other web designer had a heavy workload, I offered to pitch in and create a mockup of the site. I then presented it to the client, walking them through the design and asking questions about which pages they actually needed.
